Billy Frazer finished second in the opening USF2000 race at St. Petersburg.

Frazer made a strong start to the race passing three cars on the opening lap to move into third.

Around the halfway mark of the race, the Kiwi dropped back to fourth with Thomas Nepveu passing him to take second.

A last-lap crash for the top two on track, Nepveu and Myles Rowe, saw Jace Denmark inherit the race win while Frazer moved into second.
